The Student Health Council and Upsilon Phi Delta of USC Price School of Public Policy cordially invite you to join us for our annual banquet celebrating our outstanding faculty, alumni, students, and new graduates.

Keynote Speaker: Jacob McCarty, MPA

Jacob is currently the CEO at Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area, in which he is directly accountable for all hospital operations. Prior to his current CEO role, Jacob served as the Vice President of Business Development for Innovations Health Systems where he was primarily responsible for managing the research, business development, and strategic planning efforts for a private-equity funded regional healthcare startup providing bundled services to Accountable Care Organizations and health plans. Prior to Innovations Health, Jacob served as a Regional Director of Business Development for Plum Healthcare Group, LLC where he was responsible for developing strategic business plans, improving physician relationships, and increasing overall business growth and revenue for 14 skilled nursing facilities throughout the greater Sacramento region.

2016-2017 SHC Board Applications

Calling All Students!

USC Student Health Council (SHC) is looking for energetic, bright, dedicated leaders for the 2016-2017 school year! Elections are open for President, Vice President, and five Director positions on the SHC Board. Please see the email sent out for descriptions for all positions and an organizational chart.

President & Vice President Positions

The application for President and Vice President is now and will close on Friday, March 25th.

All applicants for President and Vice President will be pre-screened. Those selected for an interview will need to make arrangements to be available the morning of April 2nd. Each applicant will be emailed individually with more details. Announcement of the 2016-2017 President an d Vice President will be made via email on April 6th.

Director Level Positions

Nominations for the five Director positions will open on Friday, April 8th and close on Monday, April 11th.

All nominees for the five Director positions will be notified via email the evening ofMonday, April 11th and will be given the opportunity to confirm their candidacy and submit a VERY BRIEF statement of goals, experience, and reasons for running (250-300 words MAX) no later than Friday, April 15th.

Voting will then open to all MHA and EMHA students on Monday, April 18th and will close on Wednesday, April 20th. Results will be announced at the MHA/EMHA Banquet on April 23rd.
