USC Student Health Council

The USC Student Health Council aims to provide students with the academic, professional, and social skills that are critical for success in the healthcare industry. SHC serves as a bridge between students, alumni, Graduate Student Government of USC, the USC Health Administration Alumni Association, affiliate undergraduate majors, and faculty & staff of the Sol Price School of Public Policy.

SHC will helps members to develop the skills and values that employers desire:

Initiative – Innovation – Leadership – Collaboration – Professionalism – Excellence

Through participation in SHC activities, members have the opportunity to gain hands-on insight into careers in health services management, finance, consulting, and academia. Members make meaningful contributions to their academic and professional communities, and build a strong network of colleagues. Most importantly, members will have the opportunity to continue shaping the USC Master of Health Administration program into a national leader in health management and policy education through outreach, events, and program development.
